Valor Alum Christian McCaffrey Jersey Retirement

NFL star Christian McCaffrey '14 returned to Valor recently for a special ceremony honoring him. Valor Football retired his jersey number, #5. The school-wide ceremony was attended by his wife, Olivia, and parents as well as current students, Valor alumni football players, former coaches, faculty, and staff. Christian was humbled to have received this honor and thanked God for all of his success. He talked about how playing high school football was the best time of his life. He also heard from current and former teammates congratulating him for receiving this prestigious honor. After the ceremony, Christian spoke with Eagle Eye Media Reporter about what this means to him. This is the first time in Valor history that a jersey has been retired.
