On March 7, 2024, Lauren was honored by the Highlands Ranch Rotary Club for her resilience, entrepreneurship, and creativity.

Lauren transferred to Valor at the start of sophomore year. She embraced her new community despite being in a tough season of life. She was a competitive soccer player who played on the highest club team and was in the Olympic Development Program before suffering a sport-ending injury. Her doctor told her she could be active but could not run anymore. This was devastating news, but she handled it gracefully and cheered her team on from the sidelines. The following year, she decided to try a new sport and is now the goalie on the Valor's Varsity Lacrosse Team.

Academically, Lauren has worked to challenge herself while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Her GPA is 4.26 weighted/3.97. She pursued the STEM Endorsement junior year and researched finding cost-effective solutions for dental sterilizers. She is also creative and has learned 3D printing, laser cutting, and screen printing techniques. She created her own brand called "Squig" and has won the highest awards at our school and at the statewide Scholastic Art Show. Her art remains on display in the gallery.

Lauren volunteers with her church and keeps herself busy in the summer with her lawn care and landscaping business. Lauren can see herself pursuing business and graphic design.
